We've been exploring many kinds of art and art making this year!

Drums come from many cultures and are used for many things.  We explored 2 types of drums, the rattle drum and the tom-tom.  The rattle drum has been used by many cultures, from the Americas to Africa and Asia!  They have been used in ceremonies and dances.  Native Americans often use the tom-tom in ceremonies, pow-wows, dances, and even to communicate!  Drums are versatile instruments!
